Elizabeth Tabish is an actress and award winning filmmaker based in Austin, TX. Her style of filmmaking is guerilla, lo-fi arthouse inspired by 1960-70s European cinema. She received her BA in Film Theory and MA in Directing/Theater from Oklahoma State University. Her work has landed her multiple Best Editing awards, a Jury Award, Best Interactive Web Series and a Best Directing nomination, among other nominations as an actress and filmmaker. Her most notable acting credits include VidAngel's The Chosen, AMC's The Son and NBC's Revolution.
Giselle Marie Muñoz is a proud daughter of immigrants and an award winning dancer, actor, producer, filmmaker and published photographer. Her love of architecture, nature, vintage aesthetic along with her unmatched care and consideration can be seen in her work. She is a graduate and keynote commencement speaker of The Tom Todoroff Acting Conservatory in New York City, is Co-Director of Austin Arthouse Film Festival and is traveling to a city near you in the stage production of There and Back playing La Virgen de Guadalupe. She lives in Austin, Texas with her family.
Ashley James is an actor and filmmaker based in Austin, TX. Her approach to storytelling is intimate and highly-stylized, often writing and playing complex, anti-heroine roles. Her passion for filmmaking expands from narrative into documentary, where she has produced many shorts, as well as the feature length All Güt Things. As a free-lance commercial producer, she has worked with accounts including Sundance Channel, PGA Tour, and Austin Clubhouse. She received her BFA from the Academy of Art University in Film Directing and studied acting at the Meisner Technique Studio in San Francisco. She is most inspired by experimentation and collaboration and can be seen performing with the improv troupe Stevie Dicks in Austin, TX.
Janet Travis is an Austin-based actress and writer whose lifelong love for art, theater, and film took a backseat for many years while she taught Latin and Spanish and spent time raising her four children. Training extensively under Hickey utilizing the Harry Mastrogeorge technique of utilizing imagination to create a second reality, gave her insight into her own vulnerabilities and strengths as a human which allow the beauty and complexity of humanity to shine through no matter the role. Mother’s Day is Janet’s first screenplay, and it tells a story very close to her heart, which is the inner maternal struggle of women. She is currently writing Part 2 and 3 of Mother's Day.
A beginning co-founder of Maenad Films ; Lindsey Lemke is an actress, writer, and producer. Her most notable film and TV credits include Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For, Virgin Cheerleaders in Chains and The Price of Fame. Lindsey Lemke co-created Maenad Films along with Elizabeth Tabish shortly after teaming together to collaborate on the story of Cecilia. It was decided with the idea of Maenad Films to continue telling stories with strong female leads through the lens of classic vintage aesthetic. Her writing credits include The Darlings. Lindsey Lemke has recently transferred to Los Angeles, CA where she continues to pursue her creative endeavors as an actress and filmmaker.
